"I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich and it was incredible. It deep fried, and I had it delivered. So, I expected it to be a little soggy and the box steamed up when it got here. It wasn't. I got to it 30 min after delivery. It was still warm and crispy and not even a tiny bit soggy (the box was steamed either). I had it with a side of mashed potatoes and they were amazing too. This might be the best sandwich I've ever had."

"I ordered the build your own grain bowl and the Green Goddess pasta salad. The grain bowl had spinach, grilled chicken, avocado, tomato, red peppers, and creamy goat cheese with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was very good and the grilled chicken was delicious. But, none of the ingredients were mixed together as they usually are, and the olive oil/balsamic vinegar came on the side instead of mixed in, as usual. Not sure if this is an overall change at Mad Greens or just a one-off, but I definitely prefer the ingredients mixed together at the store. The Green Goddess Pasta Salad was ordered in place of the Mark Twain Pasta Salad. The pasta salad is exactly the same but with Green Goddess dressing instead of red-wine vinegar, and it's not nearly as good as the Mark Twain. The pasta salad was drenched in the Green Goddess dressing - so much that it tasted like mayonnaise. Overall this pasta salad reminded me of the macaroni salad from the deli, usually found near the potato salad or coleslaw. It'd be awesome if there were options to build your own Mac'n Cheese and cold pasta bowls, I loved the Mark Twain pasta salad with the red wine vinegar; I will not order the Green Goddess pasta salad again.
