"The Garlic Noodles were a bit different than I expected. As garlic noodles are traditionally a Vietnamese dish, but this was simply linguine with Garlic Noodles had way too much butter. however, they were still delicious and I ate every last drop after draining off some of the butter. The boiled potatoes I ordered were simply butter. Boiled Potatoes (3). I did eat all of them although it wasn't three potatoes. I only received two potatoes cut in half. I did have to again not only drain the butter, but after being in the fridge and eating the rest of them and the noodles the second day I had to use so many paper towels to scrape the butter off both the noodles and the Boiled Potatoes (3). I know this is sounding like a complaint, but after I did what I did to remove the literal full stick of butter on the potatoes and perhaps half a stick of butter on the noodles, the food was really fantastic. I will certainly buy again. I think part of the problem with the butter coagulating is because the driver was incredibly late and I had a double dash order. The Dasher went to Cardenas's market, which is a block from me before they went to the backyard Bayou. It makes no sense they should have gone and grabbed the backyard bayou because they had to pass my house to go to backyard bayou and have they gone there first and then to Cardenas's market, I don't think the butter would've been such an issue, but they did the reverse. So by the time I got the backyard Bayou order it was already cold. That is not the restaurant fault at all. It is the Dasher's fault. Backyard by you was so good. I think I'm going to order from backyard bayou again and not do a double dash so I won't have the butter issue. "

Set them aside for next day snacking. Garlic bread was ok. Also tried the Maine Style Lobster Roll which was good, and mine came with a nice salad and delicious dressing. They had some brown crispy topping which I removed. It was crunchy, but tasteless. if something doesn't add flavor to a dish I don't eat it."

"Everything we ordered was delicious!!! DO NOT CHANGE THE RECIPES INGREDIENTS!! I felt like I was in New Orleans and we were so happy to get full from a meal. The Shrimp Etoufee was a hit. The flavor was authentic! The Voodoo Shrimp will keep the vampires away with the garlic butter. The House Salad was superb and was done with class and not as an afterthought. The Mac n Cheese was creamy and I loved the white cheese approach. Of course the Peaches and Cream Bread Pudding was spot on and warm on arrival.
