"I love Demos and have been going there with my family since they opened in 1989. Lately, I have ordered from Demos many times through Door Dash and Demos is one of my main go-tos. I can honestly say that their food is ALWAYS delicious with large portions and I cannot remember ever having a complaint during any of my visits or Door Dash it's orders. Today, I ordered the pot roast, which is delicious and one of my favorites. The container always comes piping hot and filled to the brim with this awesome feast. Unfortunately, today, this was not the case. The container was lukewarm, maybe 2/3 full, and it definitely didn't taste like Demos yummy pot roast. To make matters worse, the meat itself was dry and hard and there was very little 'soup' in the container. After just a few bites, I had to set it aside for my pups. (They aren't as picky as I am about their pot roast.) I will admit I am disappointed because I was so looking forward to this yummy meal for myself on Easter Sunday. With that being said, it is Easter Sunday, which brings back many memories of Easter Sunday lunches spent there, at Demos', with my family, including my parents who have long since passed. With my many, many visits to their incredible restaurant, I know this is an exception to the norm because their food is always delicious and well-prepared from a fantastic Demos' recipe. I am also reminding myself that Jesus is risen and we are celebrating His resurrection today. He taught us to forgive, so I can and will forgive this tiny mistake, the only one I have experienced in the 37 years I have been a patron of their fine establishment. Plus, I am sure they are even more slammed than normal on this beautiful Easter Sunday. (Even though we ALL know that Mrs. Demos might not have been as forgiving in the moment.) ;) I will be ordering again soon because I am so addicted to all of my favorites on your menu! Demos' will always be my favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro!!"
