The portions were a decent size for the money. However, the food really left me disappointed.
The meat was totally lacking in the flavor/seasoning department. The pulled pork in my opinion was very dry and lacked any flavor. I've found grocery store microwavable pulled pork that was more satisfying.
The sides were equally disappointing. The coleslaw lacked dressing, and in return flavor. The mac and cheese is dried out and lacks that "rich" cheese sauce you'd expect. I've had better in the hospital or from a box on the stove.
The cornbread was the straw that broke the camel's back. It was incredbly dense, yet had the flavor of literal cardboard. Even cinnamon butter from home could not salvage it.
I would likely skip reordering here again. It was far too disappointing and flavorless for me. It lacked so much flavor it was depressing. I truly had high hopes for this spot.
While it is possible I got a bad/off day, I'd give it one more chance if the restaurant made right on the prior poor experience."

"The Crispy Halibut Picatta was out of this world delicious. Crispy Chicken Limone was tender and flavored well and was complemented by the lemon sauce. House made 21 Layer Lasagna was also amazing.
