"The Kothu Parotta and the Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious- they're always our go to orders when are at Amma's/get takeout from them . Flavorful and filling. The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

"Some important points, from my first time ordering from New Indian Sizzle 2 LLC restaurant:
#1-While I prefer not rating any restaurant poorly, I rely on honest, accurate reviews from past patrons to determine if I should try out the venue or avoid it.
#2-I have had Tandoori Chicken (Full) in at least 14 states and 3 restaurants up in Ontario. This was, by far, the worst version of Tandoori Chicken (Full) I have ever had.
#3-All we received were chicken legs, not quarters, as advertised in their picture and on their menu. It's as if they set aside a 12-pack of chicken legs just for this one order.
#4-The chicken was so dry, overcooked, and old-tasting that we had to throw out the $18.71 worth of chicken legs and over-sauteed onions.
#5-The tandoori chicken dishes I am used to are: juicy, succulent, flavorful, and taste like they have been marinated and grilled or cooked in a tandoori oven – leaving a sort of charcoal woody taste. Usually there are freshly-cut raw onions and green & red peppers tossed in. Red seasoning on the outside. White, juicy, succulent, flavorful chicken meat on the inside.
It is heaven.
This was not it.
#6-What we got was chicken that was so overcooked and saturated with whatever seasonings they used, that the flesh of the chicken was an orange-brown, rubbery, and dry.
What a shame.
We wanted to enjoy this order and were hoping for the best.
But, this will be our first and last time ordering anything from this restaurant.
