"You come in expecting bubbles and straws and leave wondering who taught this kitchen to cook like that. That alone earns attention. I ordered the chicken on a stick with white rice, and let me tell you, it came out swinging. Hot, juicy, well seasoned, no funny business. The chicken had real bite and real flavor, the kind that makes a man pause mid-chew and nod. The rice played it straight, clean and steady, letting the main act shine. Portions were generous, the plate arrived fresh, and nothing felt rushed or careless. This was not background food. This was a statement. I cannot speak for the whole menu yet, but if this is how they handle chicken, the rest of the book is worth reading. Somebody in that kitchen knows exactly what they are doing and is not afraid to show it. I would order this again without hesitation, and I will. Every place gets one first impression. "2 Main dishes: Kakuni Don & Ninja Ramen. Dessert: Green Tea Ice Cream. Both main dishes had pork as the protein. The pork in both dishes was the same kind/cut & seasoned the same. The pork is flavorful and tasty, thinly sliced and perhaps braised. Ingredients in both main dishes were fresh. Kakuni Don has a white rice base and a few pickled ingredients. Very good. Not spicy. Ninja Ramen is noodle/broth based and we made note to please make it "very very spicy". They delivered the heat! Be sure to mix the broth up from the bottom though, otherwise the spice broth sits in the bottom alone under the strainer until you are done with the noodles, etc. Green Tea Ice Cream was a delicious treat! Only 4 stars because the prices are a couple dollars too high ($19.20 and $18.00) when compared with other comparable entrees at nearby restaurants. "

This is the best place that I have found in the valley when wanting a boil. Words can't explain how good the boil was.
