"Alright, to start off with I would like to say that the food was much better than expected!
I was skeptical by the name initially I will not lie, but thought the idea of selling Pieroges, and thought this would be another Akron DoorDash "home cooked food" option. We all know what im talking about. This is not that.
I did not order Pieroges but as far as I can tell aside from the creatively delicious looking fries, everything is homemade and is authentic ethnic food. Yes, as everything else Pieroges come from elsewhere in the world being Europe.
I got the Spaztle and Potato Soup. The Spaztle tasted amazing, was soft, and for sure filling. (Someone else may crave more I generally am okay with a 1200-1700 calorie meal)
Meanwhile the Potato Soup was great! It wasn't your Americanized Thick Potato chowder. It was an actual soup with a Medium to light based broth with excellent flavor. The bacon was not bits, but instead whole sliced perfectly cooked Bacon for the texture of the Soup, with whole cut potatos. I'd order to just get the soup it was that good for me.
I was at first skeptical, but when I saw them selling a potato with a smiley face "because f it why not" that bought my purchase, but the food quality bought me coming back and writing my first review on DoorDash. "

SUNDAY BRUNCH: exactly as described and delicious. the cake is billoy soft and the flavor is true cinnamon (think of smelling warm coffee cake baking). The frosting is true cream frosting: perfectly whipped, no artificial taste, imagine more like dream whip as opposed to cool whip or heavy crisco. The frosting is delicious maybe closer to Swedish Buttercream or Italian Buttercream; it's just heavenly. Only lightly sweet.

I don't know if it's possible to make a cupcke, but with a cupcake topping intead of frosting. The frosting on these only hinder you from heaven.

But let us now address the Zakee Sandwich. This sandwich is proof that God loves me and wants me to be happy and well-nourished. The pits is so thin and tender, yet it holds the sandwich contents without a problem. The roasted lamb is fall-apart soft, juicy, flavorful. The balance of toppings tells the story of an entire meal without drowning out the star. All of the ingredients are fresh and lively. I am transported to a place where food is a song and a joy.
The hummus is beautiful in texture and taste. Just the right balance of tang and creamy smoothness.
The baklava trio are surprising in how substantial the nut quantity is. Just enough sweetness that still allows the flavor of the nuts to come through. Two of them lacked the satisfying crunch that I associated with this dish, but the third more than made up for it: and the two less crunchy pieces were delicious.
But let us now turn our attention to the dessert I have never had before: the kenafeh. How have I never had this before??? The seasoning! The balance of flavors! The textures! Honestly, this may be the single most delicious dessert I have ever had from the Mediterranean!!
