But this was one of the few times that there wasn't much flavor in the baked pieces, but no flavor at all in the Fried chicken, in fact was rather bland tasting. That's very disappointing because the flavor in the meat is why I ordered from Golden Chick. So based upon the average of times I've ordered, I would still recommend them. I realize every business is trying to save money and so they may take short-cuts effecting the quality. With all things being possible, I'm guessing it wasn't marinated as long or at all. "Ok, this is my new favorite place to eat! I get the classic mixed plate with the Honolulu Chicken and Luau Pork. Both are amazing. Add a little of their pineapple BBQ sauce and mix it with the rice. They also have a Teriyaki sauce that is really good. Plates aren't fancy but they are delicious. also you have to try the dairy, gluten free soft serve. Get the strawberry, pineapple twist. Its not ice-cream but its so smooth. I've been here 4 times and the food is alway consistent and service is friendly. Im so glad this opened up in Corpus."
