"Arby's gets joked about a ton, but I think it's delicious! I crave it often. The roast beef is salty, savory, and deeply satisfying. I always get the largest roast beef sandwich, The Half Pound Roast Beef Sandwich. It is very simple, yes, just bun and beef, but I like that it puts the roast beef to stand alone with no competing flavors.
It is of course huge. I have to take some meat off to be able to bite into the thing. But then I love the roast beef even by itself so I'm quite happy to have "extra".
Even though half a pound of roast beef is filling enough, I do also enjoy the side options. The classic season curly fries are a perfect accompaniment.
I do miss the potato cakes.
The jalapeño poppers, when dipped in the berry sauce, are indulgently excellent, even for spicy-sensitive people like myself.

"I can't believe this place has such good reviews. First, the lobster roll sandwich was insanely small. Imagine getting a slice of Texas toast and folding it in half, then throwing some lobster meat in the center of it. That's what $16 gets you. Next are the fries. Crinkle cut, undercooked, and NO seasoning whatsoever, not even salt. I also got a lemonade, which they screwed up as well. There was no ice.
