Roe's clams wasn't chewy like rubber so that was a good sign assuming it was because they were previously frozen. fries were ok. btw $22 for fish n chips from this place is not worth the consideration. look elsewhere like crab pot or outside of lbc. clam chowder and fish n chips is something I get thrilled about and are just about the most important dish I look for to gage the quality of their overall restaurant of any which I go to. also key thing for fish n chips to stay crusty and no soggy is to keep the lid cracked open so steam doesn't destroy the quality of the batter; a store in north Hollywood revealed this and I traveled 15 mins same as any other trip to test and NH was by far the best.
