"Normally I give this place 4-5 stars, but this time, just can't. Ordered the teriyaki bowl and the only thing that was good, it came in a bowl. Zero taste, chicken was char broiled (dark and black), didn't notice any teriyaki sauce or flavor. Rice was ok. Was missing the brocolli. I would say either make a good teriyaki bowl or remove it from the menu. Other places in town have teriyaki that is 1000% better. Gyoza was ok, other than it was cold."

"Both the Hazelnut Bread Pudding and Warm and Warm & Toasty were delicious, but very small portions for the price. The bread pudding is similar to French toast, but with a more gooey texture, and a very sweet, caramel taste. Roasted hazelnuts add a bit of crunch. The Warm & Toasty only came in one size, which is equivalent to a small at Starbucks. It's also extra sweet, with brown sugar being the dominant flavor, so it went well with the Hazelnut Bread Pudding. Both satisfied my sweet tooth but didn't really fill me up."

"4.5 stars Monte Cristo sandwich was just as described: thin-sliced deli ham and Cheddar cheese between two pieces of French toast. The French toast was golden brown on the outside and soft and custardy on the inside, like French toast should be. I didn't think the carmel dip paired well with the ham and cheese, so I put it in my coffee instead. I suggest they add a way to request cream and sugar with coffee orders, since mine came black. And maybe offer raspberry jam (another traditional side for a Monte Cristo) as an alternative to the dip. Fresh fruit was sliced pineapple (not canned). Not a super big portion, but a nice palate cleanser after the salty ham sandwich."

"Didn't get a photo. The SANDWICH CUBANO is one big, tasty sandwich. It's a hot ham and pork sandwich (the pork is shredded) on a ginormous french roll, pressed in a panini press so it gets even bigger. Served with dill pickles on sandwich and ruffled potato chips on the side. I'm not normally a big ham sandwich fan, but the combination of the salty ham, sour pickles and chewy French bread is just about irresistable. The sandwich is conveniently cut in half so that if you can't finish it all, you can put away the other half for tomorrow's lunch, or share it with a friend. All that salt will make you thirsty; fortunately this cafe has a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks at reasonable prices.
