"This place was recommended by a neighbor and it has proved to be a good recommendation. The food is always good and hot, delivered or picked up with reasonable prep time. The lady behind the counter is a very hard worker. Have seen her running all sides of the place including the liquor store in it and still being fast and friendly cutting lines down quick, while getting everyones food together even when its very busy in there. This is one of the most surprising little local places with good, pretty consistent food, nice, hard working people and decent prices. We've ordered a few times since discovering it and gotten cheese steaks, different types of fries, desserts, and mushrooms at different times, all of which were good. We're going to try their meatball subs next. They have a revolving variety of fancy little dessert items that they showcase and offer with pictures on their dash menu for when you impulsively want something sweet and don't want to wreck your kitchen baking 🤣. "FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked! SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well. "

"The serving sizes are plentiful, food fresh and amazing tasting. I love the Cabbage Stir which is cooked perfect and amzing flavor. The Grilled Chicken | Jerk chicken is also my favorite. I added the sautéed shrimp with hot honey sauce. Food is also well packaged to prevent spills. Forgot plantains but I usually get them and they are a favorite of kids and I both. The employees at this location is als always very friendly and professional. They can also give you good recommendations even on certain diet choices. I ordered today but support this local buisness weekly also liking curry chicken bowl and hot honey chicken platter with seasonal veggies, grilled veggies and broccoli. You really cant go wrong.
