"I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the food completely missed the mark. Every dish we ordered was shockingly bland—absolutely flavorless and under-seasoned. I’ve never in my life had to add salt to Chinese food, but tonight it was necessary just to make it palatable. To make matters worse, the portions were incredibly small considering the price point. The Mongolian beef had more onions than beef in it and the lemon chicken was very low in protien compared to breading. For what we paid, I expected far better quality and quantity. Chinese food is usually a comfort meal packed with bold flavor, but this was anything but. Disappointed and won’t be reordering."

Urban Plates has blacked out the ability to add a request, so I was unable to say how I wanted my steak cooked. I had to pick "well done" on the salmon and hope that they also did the steak that way. Unfortunately, they really overcooked both the salmon and the steak. The food was OK, not great. The "brussel sprouts" were half onion, and the mac & cheese was really dry. The mustard sauce is delicious though. There just isn't enough of it. Although my order arrived quickly, and I live just a few blocks from the restaurant, it was cold enough to need reheating right away. I'm not sure I would try this restaurant again."
