I ordered via DoorDash for carry-out Chicken Tibs, sauteed, bite-sized pieces of chicken with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and jalapeños; Kikil, tender, braised lamb with garlic; and a Sambusa, a triangular-shaped pastry filled with lentils, onions, and jalapeños. The cafe is modest in size and furnishings, but it felt like I was walking into my grandmother’s kitchen. I was greeted warmly by the owner, the mouthwatering fragrance of authentic cooking, and Ethiopian music playing in the background. I knew that the food would be delicious as soon as I walked past the first table. "Ordered the tofu purple rice bowl and it was forking delicious, got one of each of all the sauces. I liked the ginger lime (I think the house sauce?) and the sunflower butter sauce the best, the garlic tamarind was good too but had a slight metallic taste but that's probably just me. Portion decent, tofu is crispy. One thing I will advise against is ordering the smoothie, not because it's bad, but because I ordered it as well and was put inside the bag instead of a drink caddy. Spilled all over the bowl, soaked through the bag, but I know it wasn't the dasher's fault so I ordered a new one without the smoothie and now I'm happy! The one tiny sip of the smoothie I got was good. I would still recommend but maybe they should figure out a new way to package the smoothie."
