"I've been looking forward to trying this place, and even though it was late at night the food was nicely plated. Portions felt appropiate for the price. The Grouper with mixed vegetables was a standout, and the sides were fresh and tasty. The Gumbo was full of meat and seafood with a rich, hearty roux, and had a nice portion size. The Fried Jumbo Calamari Ring was a bit of a letdown because the Calamari wasn't cleaned properly, still had a piece of that plastic-like cartilage in every bite that should have been removed prior to breading (if you have never experienced this, it's a little like the clear plastic strap sewn into a blouse to keep it on a hanger). The calamari flavor was good and was cooked correctly otherwise, they were the size of large onion rings. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place, but I won't try the calamari again unless someone else orders it."

Their Cajun Pots Sticker are standard but have a good dash of some Cajun seasoning. I think this place is great."

Crispy and crunchy on the outside perfectly cooked on the inside in my opinion with a very good balance of spices and flavors. They were very mild and allowed the flavors to come through including the crab meat which again was cooked perfectly in my opinion. I had one of the hush puppies and they were very delicious well done and crunchy on the outside soft in the middle. Good balance of corn flavor and sweet and savory. Will eat the rest as leftovers. 12 small but perfectly sized for a mouthful and extremely reasonably priced for what you're getting. When I first looked at the crabcakes I was interested and kind of intrigued because they were large and round and I expected them to be more shaped like a crabcake.
