"I noticed that Krispy Kreme had been added to doordash and was excited because the only place it could be ordered from prior was on postmates. I had assumed that I was ordering the Original Glazed® Dozen from a franchise that was making them fresh throughout the day but instead I received a box of a dozen donuts with the sticker that says "made fresh daily" that you can buy at a Ralphs. I'm only bent out of shape because I paid the same amount on here for the not so fresh dozen that I paid (without a membership) on postmates for a warm freshly made batch. They weren't horrible they just werent the quality I'd expected for the price."

I don't know why this happened but hopefully this review fixes that. This is my summary: Afters ice cream is crazy expensive but also so truly amazing tasting. Milk & Sugar Cookies is addicting. The pieces of sugar cookie dough and sprinkles are delicious. I love it especially w the Afters flakes and the fruity pebbles on top. I could eat the entire quart in one sitting but at $22 each, I stop myself. What rubbed me the wrong way last time I ordered was that the quart was not even close to full. The pictures are from the second to last order I placed. You can see how much more room is in there. This wasn't the first time this happened either. I suppose how much you get depends on who's packing it. I understand it settles as it melts but this is way too much room to be left empty. Whomever filled it did a poor job and put in little effort. For $22, it should be packed in there pretty good. That was disappointing. Taste is subjective but value is not. I do hope management reiterates how important it is to give the customer what they pay for. It's one of the most expensive ice cream shops around and I expect Afters to do better. I wish Afters would sell this seasonal flavor in pre-packed quarts like some of the other flavors available in stores. I guess they know what they have w this flavor. There will always be crazy people like me who pay $22 plus tax and $8 tip to satiate their taste buds. Highly recommend but make sure to let them know if your quart isn't fully packed so maybe they'll do something about it!"

I'll start by saying that overall it was tasty and it's a good amount of food but I can't see this feeding 3-4 people like it says, unless this supposed to be a shared appetizer vs a meal. I mean I can eat 4 crab clusters alone, so 1 crab cluster and 1 lobster tail was just a "taste" if you will (cuz no one splits a crab cluster or lobster tail)! :-) So Much of the filler is from the potatoes and shrimp. Still, all things considered, this satisfied me ! I still think this meal is way overpriced which is why I took off 1 star, given that you only get 1 cluster and 1 tail but perhaps that's what it costs in LA(?). I'll also say I thought it needed a little salt to me since I'm used to the saltiness of Old Bay seasoning with my crabs and shrimp. But it was good and did the job in terms of satisfying my hankering. And The food was nice and hot when it arrived. It's a great place to try. "
