"First time ordering here and it was not disappointing at all! The Salmon Nigiri Box was fresh tasting and the presentation and packaging was cute! Also came with some Japanese pickles which I love since you don't usually get a little side like that. The Fatty Tuna Maki was decent because you can't beat the price lol! The Spicy Tuna Roll flavor and spice was on point except the rice felt like it was a little dry and the seaweed was pretty good too. Would definitely order again."

" Shrimp Tempura Roll a bit hard to eat because it is so big but still good"

"Rolls are very large and filling but lack flavor. Shrimp Tempura Roll (on the left in pic) was the best out of all with a solid taste for the basic roll. Lobster Tempura Roll had a decent flavor however it was stuffed mostly with lettuce! Jon's Shrimp Lover Roll was ok, each ingredient stood out and easily identified. Snow White Roll (on the right in pic) was ok, however the avocado was overpowering. Prawn Tempura Appetizer was very good but only came with 4. Lastly, Katsu Don was delicious and taste very similar to the dishes in Japan! "

The sushi didnt include any ginger or wasabi. The Hamachi Hand Roll had rock hard avocado. The Salmon Maki was the smallest maki roll I've ever seen. Not sure we will be going back. "Got the sushi sampler was very tender and fresh. Pieces may look small but that is traditional and cut thicker. Excellent presentation with plenty of ginger and green mustard (wasabi) and daikon that I love with sashimi. Also got miso perfect flavor not weak or too strong like other places. Added sushi rice too. Ordered a tamago and a tobilko sushi both lacked any wasabi but it was provided on the side with pickled ginger. I prefer it on my sushi. Excellent presentation and provided with chopsticks, soy sauce, and napkins. I'll order from them again soon!"

"The fish were pretty fresh and the cuts were decently sized. I wish the food came with soy sauce and chopsticks, as I don't have any at home. I didn't see any option to request them. It did come with wasabi and pickled ginger, though."

The breading is similar to another local fave in Danville but the sauce is much different than other places (creamy & sweeter than other katsu sauces). Takeout order only comes with shredded cabbage (no salad or soup). CA roll was good, too."
