"I know it's kind of weird to leave a five star Subway review, but hear me out: I'm visiting Scranton for a wedding this week. I also have a lot of dietary restrictions that suck, but them's the breaks. Last night, I foolishly ordered not one, but two salads from Chipotle and ended up paying over $30 (40 ish total counting delivery fees and tip, but my Door Dashers were fabulous, and this was not their fault) and ended up with two 1/4 filled containers of shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes (no explanation about the missing ingredients at all). Also they were leaking and had no utensils. I ate this "dinner" with my hands like an actual rabbit and had to sustain myself with my hotel room's complementary coffee creamer to avoid a calorie deficit. Not my proudest moment. I have never Karened before, but I was so hungry I had to shout into the app-feedback void. They gave me like a $7.49 credit, which I accepted and used to purchase a salad from. subway, because why not? I received the salad of my dreams, for like less than $14 including tip, delivery, and a water to boot. AND they even gave me a free cookie (packaged separately so no cross contamination!!!) that I gave to my husband who has the privilege of a colon that can tolerate gluten. TL; DR: If you are in Scranton and want a big, satisfying salad, go to this Subway. They restored my faith in fast food today."

"The Bowl Chick n' Noodle is always a great soup. No shultz, always hearty and the broth is perfect made. It's not salty, greasy; a genuine homemade chicken soup that you would enjoy in your grandmother's kitchen. It has a good portion of protein (chicken), and long-cooked mirepoix (carrots, celery and onions). Never fails as a lunch on its own because of the depth of the soup and light but flavorful broth. The Helen Schwartz, I have attached some photos and allow everyone else form their own opinions; but the meat, while hearty in serving, seems more like corned beef as opposed to pastrami. It was still an excellent sandwich; the rye bread was fresh, not overloaded with mustard (I ordered without the sauerkraut because I simply don't eat it for fear of food poisoning. Just so I am clear, I have never experienced food poisoning at Hometown ever, but with delivery I simply don't feel it's worth any risk. But, while the meat is delicious and plentiful; I attached a photo to demonstrate. Pastrami is usually a long, thin strip with a smoke ring and has a distinct taste and texture. This seemed, tasted and looked much more like corned beef rather than pastrami; but still a great sandwich as I enjoy the occasioal corned beef too.
