"This review has nothing to do with the Dasher (who was a hero for crossing the busy street to get to my apartment, nor is this aimed towards the employees at KFC who are just doing their job. This is about the company and their inflating business deals. I feel slightly cheated by these portion sizes. The chicken was fine even if it wasn't extra crispy. I remember when extra crispy used to mean extra batter but these days I guess it just means fried longer. The chicken tastes different too- reminds me of the chicken that the deli department at Meijer's. I dont mind how shriveled the pieces look but it is weird to see the chicken crammed into this small bucket. It is disappointing how small the side items have become. The 8pc meal is advertised to come with 2 large sides so I got mashed potatoes with no gravy (because not all of us want gravy on their mash), and the Mac n Cheese. The mashed potatoes container had alot of space and gaps. I measured a cup and a half of mash, essentially each person getting about 2 or 3 tablespoons worth of mash. This wasnt even enough to feed 3 people let alone 4. There was supposed to be 4 biscuits but they weren't in the bag- and the bag was glued shut so it was packaged like that, but thats fine cause none of us liked those biscuits. Im glad I got the extra side of coleslaw and had the gravy seperatebecause this just shows how far KFC is going downhill as a business. After everything was divided up, it wasnt even that filling. I was looking forward to fried chicken for a long time and now I'm just disappointed and down $60. I won't be buying from KFC again."

"I don't have a negative word for what they're doing at Angela's. I typically try to order something different every time so today I had the biscuits with sausage gravy, two eggs, and turkey bacon. Everything was cooked beautifully, seasoned well, and clearly made with love. Tastes like home. Besides how it tastes; it is made quickly and I have never received cold food. I ordered hot coffee today and it was STILL piping hot. They deserve 5 stars. Seriously. "

"Hearty Mans Breakfast was good except the bread for the french toast was sour and soggy. The Homemade Sausage Gravy with Biscuit Breakfast Meal also had sour bread but overall tasty. Not forgetting to mention the Side Home Fries, Grits, Or Rice don't order it with seasonings because they use something like cumin and that isn't good at all on those fries. Not even salt, pepper or ketchup could fix them. Lastly, both the Cup of French Vanilla Cappuccino and the Cup of White Chocolate Caramel Cappuccino weren't filled up in the cups. They were also too thick, almost oily and just not worth for $3.00"

The garlic sauce in the M19.鱼香茄子 Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is truly the BEST I've ever eaten. I love the smoky, peppery quality of the sichuan peppers. The eggplants are sautéed, not fried, which I wasn't expecting. But now, this is my new favorite way to order eggplant! The eggplant's flavor really complements the sauce, and vice versa. It's like they're dancing a beautiful tango on my taste buds. The A2.红油水饺 Dumplings In Chili Sauce are also top tier. I normally dip my steamed dumplings in sauce (I'm a sauce/dip fiend) but the seasoning and oil combination makes it unnecessary. If you knew me, you'd realize how big of a deal that is for me to say that. The 大白饭 Large steamed rice .... well, up until this point, I thought white rice was white rice was white rice. Nope. This is how you do it. I now understand why most of the world's population lives off of rice. If it's cooked anything like this, I could eat it every day, too. If you enjoy a Chinese style green bean, M20.干煸四季豆 Sautéed String Bean will blow your mind. They're sautéed with fresh minced garlic with a expertly crafted sauce that subtly incorporates that savory sichuan pepper goodness. And finally, the M16. 麻婆豆腐 Ma Po Tofu is truly beyond compare. It's so spicy, but the spice is complex and savory in a way I've never experienced. Make sure you have some dairy or yogurt drink on hand, because the burn will stay with you long after your last bite. The tofu is cooked perfectly; it's firm but it absorbs the flavor seamlessly. The addition of nuts really takes it up a notch. As you can see, I care strongly about food, and I can safely say this restaurant will be a new favorite of mine for years to come. And the portion is even smaller than the rice that came along with the dish. Very disappointed with the fried rice, I will never order fried rice from them again. "We had a very long 36 hours. We got stuck in gridlock traffic for over 6 hours during a drive back from NYC during a snow storm.
