I knew the moment I unpackged the egg roll it was gonna be good. The egg roll has that special type of battering that I fear has become almost extinct within the Chinese restaurants. "The pork fried rice was simply rice and two tiny squares of pork. The lo-mein was noodles, a couple pieces of cabbage and three little shrimp. The egg roll would have veen good if it wasn't cold and soggy. Overall failure, not what I expected at all."

Kung Po Chicken was the best part; however, mushrooms are not meant to be part of a kung pao (not po) dish... That was a bit offputting and the peanuts were just tossed on top rather than tossed in the dish in a wok. Not entirely sure if this place is authentic . "

"The food was well-packaged and ready on time. The flavor of the Sichuan dishes was more authentic than the typical American Chinese takeout joint. All the entrees had a lot more meat than veggies, so I guess that justifies why the prices seemed high for Chinese food. However I had to take off a star because there were no Sichuan peppercorns in the dishes! Overall, a passable option for Chinese food in a pinch, but there is a better option for Sichuan cuisine on the other side of the CT River."
