I noticed they had cut holes out of the carton to allow steam to escape which is so helpful and so many places forget to do that with fried foods... it makes a huge difference! Thank you! It was a little bland and needed something additional to make it feel complete. The texture was okay. It was a bit chewier in a tough way as opposed to a glutinous rice way like I expected. I think this is one of those fried items that steams itself to be a little soggy and tougher (I'm Asian so rice cake texture is not usual for me... sesame balls and mochi are some normal favorites but this was not quite that). I understand the changes with the hush puppies, making them their own side order. I don't understand how when you click for a side of potato salad this establishment thought it was okay to give you a soufflé cup of it. There's more ounces in the red beans and rice compared to the potato salad. I've gotten real sized sides and then sometimes I don't. I'd rather receive a real side for a $16 dollar basket. Besides that, this place is where to order! Nice, hot fresh food and the pickup service staff is so friendly. Would definitely order again!"
