"Lamb chops are always perfectly cooked. I like mine rare, my husband likes his medium and they are always just right (that is an art--especially with travel time involved!). I also have great faith in the overall cleanliness of this restaurant. Unlike other restaurants, Paps Gyros always looks clean and the wait staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. So, even when we get carry-out, I never worry about who is preparing the food or how it's prepared.
I may sound over-enthusiastic, but everything I've said is true. Portions are good: not too much, but not skimpy (although, for the extra dollar, a little more steamed broccoli would be appreciated).
My personal favorite end-of-meal treats are their rice pudding or baklava. I rarely get dessert, but Papa Gyros is worth every calorie.
