"tried a bite of everything prior to writing review as I've never had food from here before. the jerk chicken is tender but it is SPICY, not in a bad way but it dies quickly. the ribs are smokey with a nice amount of heat and they are FALL OFF THE BONE tender. the wings are great, not overcooked OR oversauced so I don't look like a toddler after eating them. the Mac and cheese is creamy and garlicky but not to the point where it's overpowering, it compliments the spices in the meat well. the brisket is the mild heat option with a balanced and smokey flavor. I'd never tried KASHMIRI TEA before but I love cardamom and it clenses the palate quite well. overall the Medium Platter has MORE than enough food for a family of 4 especially if two are children. I would hazard a guess that it could feed 5 or 6"

"Brisket was fantastic with the BBQ sauce, I was concerned on portion size but it was more than enough with the Rice dish and coleslaw. I usually don't like coleslaw but this Dill flavored slaw was a nice light touch! When I'm back overnighting in Toronto I will be ordering here again! Also I was glad to try the rice dish because it did not disappoint and even had a kick to it. Great food!"

"I love Jambalaya, so credit for them for making it, it's hard to find in Toronto. It was delicious. Did not find it spicy at all but I might have some immunity to spice. Only constructive criticism I would give for my preference. Is that the chorizo was tiny chopped up fragments mixed with the rice. I prefer it as whole slices. But was still very good! Overall 4 out of 5 comparing to the best I've ever had. So 4 is still excellent. It arrived cold, but that's Ubers fault becuae they want you to pay extra for direct delivery. "

"Everything was amazing but the cornbread??? I want to inject the cornbread into my veins, when I die, bury me with it. It's so good, light and airy, yet sugary, and for my first ever taste of cornbread, perfect. I'm not usually a Mac and cheese person, but the Mac and cheese was really well seasoned, creamy and flavoured really well. One thing I wish though was that it was more crispy and baked at the top, but overall, really good.
