"I don't tend to eat a lot of fast food as I find most of it lately very heavy on the stomach and greasy enough to overwhelm both the texture and flavor of the dish. When I received the trio of Basil Popcorn Chicken , Deep Fried Squid , and Fried Lobster Balls (6pcs)... I was pleased to discover the flavor, texture, and lightness that each contained. I chose to experience these snacks at their standard seasoning level for my first encounter. Yet I love how pretty much every item on the menu can be customized. Having relished both the Taro Milkshake and Lychee Smoothie I'd sampled in a previous order... I was excited to receive the Red Bean Milkshake. Which was refreshingly cool, creamy, and rich with sweet bean flavor. And a wonderful companion to the side dishes. My only sadness was that the Unagi with Rice seems to be temporarily off the menu. As I was really looking forward to trying this fan favorite. Being an unagi fan myself."

"This rating is long overdue! I have never ordered anything from Krob Krua that my family hasn't loved. Moved here from Minneapolis 2 years ago and grieved the loss of good ethnic, especially Thai, food. Then I found this place. Krob Krua's food matches (maybe even exceeds) the best I've ever had! Tonight we had the Pad Kra Pow w/Tofu and the Tom Yum soup with crab & shrimp dumplings. Amazing as usual. Felt compelled to finally write a review. And the prices are reasonable. I truly feel this is the best food Eugene has to offer!!"

"The seasonings KK uses are delightful, more flavorful than most Thai restaurants use. The Salmon Curry is a bit expensive, understandably so given the ingredients, but soooo lovely. I've had it twice now and I really like it. The Brussel Sprout Fi Dang was new for me and delicious. Ordering from Krob Krua is a real treat."

"The food is okay, but is extremely over priced for the quality & quantity you receive. Just check out pigs in a blanket for a quick example. I ordered a fruit bowl in my first go of this restaurant, for $9.00 & got less then a cup of fruit. It looked like they counted out every piece, careful not to give more then 2 of the same fruit.The Waffle Sampler is a good classic beligan waffle, 4/5 ⭐ for JUST the waffle. However, the sides were the absolute bare minimum for the price to be considered reasonable, and not very good. Eggs were rubbery but edible. The bacon was thin, but decent. In total, 'Brail's' over charges, and under delivers. Disappointing."
