The quesabirria taco was bomb. Crispy, cheesy, juicy, and that consomé? Tasty! Same with the carnitas taco—shockingly good. I’m not even a huge carnitas lover, but this one? Soft, seasoned, flavorful. They did it right.
Now, this place is definitely going on the list of spots for legit Mexican-style tacos. I’m picky, especially with meat, and if you know me, you know I check my tacos before I even take a bite. I literally scan for fat and gristly pieces, and I can tell you—besides the al pastor, which wasn’t my favorite and had a few of those fatty bites—the rest was super clean. Minimal fat, nice texture, and you can see in the photos: my plates are basically empty except for those tiny bits. That says something.
So why not a 5 out of 5? Because while it was delicious and totally hit the spot....it wasn’t mind-blowing. I reserve that 5-star status for the spots that leave me shook! Regardless, this place is very good and I recommend it! I’d definitely come back and think of this place next time I’m craving tacos."
