"I tried this restaurant while on a business trip from out of town. It wasn't too hard to access especially during the busy lunch hour. I do appreciate the vegan items on the menu specifically being labeled as such .
I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice and the Jerk Tofu. The food was good and filling. The Jerk Tofu came as a meal with three seasoned tofu squares drizzled in a BBQ sauce and topped with scallions, this was laid over a bed of the vegetable fried rice and the meal also had a side of cabbage. As someone who regularly eats tofu, I can say this tofu wasn't marinated but was seasoned well and the bbq sauce addition was nice. The rice had hints of smoky flavor and jerk seasoning that complimented the mild sweetness of the bbq sauce. The jerk tofu did not have any heat or level of spice - not a huge complaint but I was surprised by this because Jerk items usually have some spicy kick. So if you're looking for a jerk tofu with a kick, this isn't that option.
The cabbage was also good; well seasoned, tender, but not over cooked.
Overall, the food was good although the flavor profile was a little monochromatic. I would order again and perhaps consider other items too.
The only reduction of one star is based on the lack of description for the Jerk Tofu. The description just literally list "Jerk Tofu" - based on the price I assumed it was a meal but I wasn't sure what was included. I wouldn't have ordered a side of the Veggie Fried rice had I known it was included. "
