"I had two appetizers and they both were exceptional. The crabcakes were cooked perfectly the house sauce or Yum Yum sauce was very delicious with the crabcakes. Crispy and crunchy on the outside perfectly cooked on the inside in my opinion with a very good balance of spices and flavors. They were very mild and allowed the flavors to come through including the crab meat which again was cooked perfectly in my opinion. I had one of the hush puppies and they were very delicious well done and crunchy on the outside soft in the middle. Good balance of corn flavor and sweet and savory. Will eat the rest as leftovers. 12 small but perfectly sized for a mouthful and extremely reasonably priced for what you're getting. When I first looked at the crabcakes I was interested and kind of intrigued because they were large and round and I expected them to be more shaped like a crabcake. "Rating: 2/3 Stars We ordered takeout from one of our favorite restaurants, and unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. I ordered the daily special filet with “crab and lobster meat” on top—an expensive entrée—and it arrived with a single speck of crab and lobster. To make it worse, there was more wasabi provided for the tuna appetizer than actual seafood on the filet. The entire order was sloppily thrown together, and it was clear this takeout meal didn’t receive the same care or portion sizes as it would have in the restaurant, despite the hefty delivery upcharge. After traveling all day, we were looking forward to a convenient but high-quality meal, especially given the $146 price tag. We’ve always loved dining in at this restaurant, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend their takeout service. It’s a shame because we’ve had so many great meals in person here. This experience left us feeling let down."
