Quite possibly the best chicken linguine Alfredo I've ever had, for several reasons: the sauce was creamy and held together without breaking or being lumpy; the chicken, pounded in tradition, was thin but tender, deliciously seasoned and perfectly seared; beautifully presented and garnished with fresh herbs and shaved parmesan. The birria tacos were hearty and packed with enough flavor for three dishes, crispy and double-layered. The empanadas were a perfect starter and split well enough, well… to split; the chicken soup hit the soul hard and I couldn't even crack into the tostones (which had sundried tomatoes, not necessarily a bruschetta mix). I placed the order for pickup through Doordash, where they usually have deals and unique offers. Awesome variety, great food, warm people."

"I love Powerhouse Eatery. We've dined in a few times. Their Bruschetta is one of the best I've ever had. Ordering it this time on take out was as if it was a completely different dish. Tomatoes not blistered. Topping was basically a few tomatoes sitting in a container full of balsamic juice (imagine an 8 oz soup container filled with thin balsamic marinade/sauce, a just a handful of little tomatoes floating in it). At the restaurant, the presentation was way more plentiful.... it was overflowing with blistered tomatoes, garnished with chopped basil, dusted with parm, etc. I get that take out is not going be the same experience as dining in, but shouldn't I at least be receiving the same food/dish? The bread I was given was also 3 slices, untoasted. At the restaurant, we received at least 4, but most likely 5. Nothing else. Just bread and tomato balsamic soup juice. It felt like a DIY kit for the dupe of Powerhouse Eatery's bruschetta, rather than the actual thing. VERY disappointing. Definitely affects how I consider anything regarding them moving forward. I've recommended so many people to them so this is a real shame. Heirloom Tri-Color Carrots - cooked well, but they didn't season it at all. Had to add a few pinches of salt to it to make it edible. Couldn't really taste the natural sweetness of heirloom carrots. Nothing earth shattering."
