I liked that the okra in the gumbo wasn't slimy. I requested crawfish and there was a heaping amount for every spoonful. The roux base was thin and bland though. The fried rice was hot and steamy when I received my delivery. The ratio of chicken, shrimp and sausage to rice was perfect. But the spice level was a little too much heat and the overall rice was heavily peppered. I had to take several breaks to get through about a quarter of the meal before I gave up. The white rice that came with the gumbo tasted like Uncle Ben's or Minute rice - definitely not long grain jasmine rice. I ordered late, so I wasnt surprised to see specks of burnt rice mixed in - must have been scraped from the bottom of the pot. I fed it to my pet goose because it didn't taste good at all."

The best part of the entire thing was the boundin balls , next time I order it'll be an entire order just for these because they were absolutely ON POINT. The shrimp box was great, the portion size was great , it was very tasty and flavorful but you could tell they don't overly salt the food which is great because too much seasoning is a no no. The blackened shrimp in the pasta was great however the pasta wasn't my favorite , the sauce was ok but I definitely wouldn't get it again. The freshness of the food was amazing it was very filling and I had it later as seconds so I was happy with my purchase . The shrimp plate didn't taste like an avergar shrimp plate , it wasn't completely out of the world but I loved it because again , the salt ratio was perfect , it was filled with, the corn and potatoes had a unique bland taste to them but I liked it . I definitely will be back !"

"The Ribeye Dinner was so good!! I'm not going to lie. The noodles were Al dente the sauce actually stuck to the noodles which was a great thing. The sauce was so well seasoned too. "You would think that a combo of 3 items and 2 sides for almost $30 would be a decent amount of food right? Wrong. I received 1 piece of catfish, 2 hush puppies, 3 fried oysters that were smaller than a quarter, and maybe half a handful of fries. The catfish had 0 seasoning to speak of, pretty much had to drench it in cocktail sauce to mask the combo of bland breading and smelly catfish (when fresh there's no smell). The oysters were soggy, the hush puppies and fries had no seasonings as well. The red beans and rice were passable only due to the butter on the rice and the slightly over cooked sausage in the beans. Best part was the peach tea. "
