"The portions were HUGE! Everything was so flavorful, with quality ingredients used! You can't go wrong with either the Nepali Chicken Curry - With Rice or the Chicken Biryani, and the Plain Naanwas the best I've eaten in a long time! My picture is of just one order each, and part of a piece of naan- I couldn't stop eating it, lol! It comes with a yogurt dip that was perfect! "

"I could barely snap photos of the items I ordered before diving right in. Every bite was aromatic and bursting with flavor. The Aloo Goobi (Mild) was perfectly cooked with buttery soft potatoes and the cauliflower had the slightest crunch. The Garlic Naan and the Onion Kulcha were both hot and fresh and full of flavor as well as ingredients. Portions were generous (Entrees come with a pint of the main dish and a pint of basmati rice as well) and could easy be shared or split into multiple servings or tomorrow's lunch. Looking forward to trying even more items next time!"

"I ordered from Amaravati India Restaurant and really liked everything. The garlic naan was soft, warm, and full of flavor. The Navratan Korma was creamy with lots of veggies and a nice, mild sweetness. The onion chilli vada was crispy with a nice spicy kick, and the strawberry milkshake was cool and creamy, making a great way to finish the meal. The food was well-packed and still warm when it arrived, showing they really care about quality. Overall, it was a delicious and comforting meal that made me want to order again."

They do not come with rice on their own. Mulligatawni soup and aloo gobi were also awesome, though there were some pretty big chunks of ginger in the aloo gobi. "Wow, delicious! The price is worth it, and we had no issues with our order. The Chicken Makhani was creamy, tangy, succulent, the Karahi Chicken was delicious with its veggies, the vegetable samosa was so flavorful and stuffed full with its filling, and the roti was fresh with great texture. Rice also came with our entrees. All of the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender, too. We will be ordering again! "

"Best Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever eaten. The sauce is very creamy. I got Mild, but if you want a more traditional spice profile, go at least a little spicy. The Garlic Naan is amazing, perfectly doughy. I'd skip the Masala Chai (Over Ice), it was a lot of milk and not enough chai IMO. But it would be perfect for those spicier dishes. The Gulab Jamun is pretty yummy, but I could not eat the Rasmalai due to the blue cheese taste. Overall, this restaurant is a MUST for anyone who wishes they had an Indian mother. Do not skip this one. Best in Long Beach. "

"We are glad that Kamal Palace is back! We think though that they are still finding their legs. Tonight's order was good, but something was missing? Each of the three entrees were unevenly heated. Parts were warm/hot and the other parts, mainly the meats, were ice cold. Microwaving? The murgh makhni, which we ordered medium heat, was more spicy than the lamb vindaloo which is supposed to be spicy. The portion sizes are good, and rice is included with each entree. We're definitely coming back, but we're going to give them just a little time to work out the details. Welcome back!!"

A literal pool of oil that went 1/3 of the way up the container it was delivered in."
