"Overall, I get the essence of home... an authentic dish from my titi's house. However, sometimes the pernil is absolutely perfect and other times it's very dry. The only time we get the right amount of rice is if we ask for no salad. I find the salad to be a waste because it's already dressed and arrives soggy. We love salad, just not soggy. I understand the restaurant uses good containers but they are children sized portions for quite a bit of money. I dine at fine restaurants and well appointed restaurants where the dishes are more expensive than their street counterparts, but the portions and the quality of the food command the prices. I would increase my rating to at least a four if mi amigos would consider improving their portions and making sure the pernil is succulent each time. Gracias!!"

"Amazing flavors: Queso dip and chips generous serving of super crispy FRESH chips and delicious, smooth queso...amazing tasty and and fresh guacamole but the star of my order is the Asado tacos- maybe the BEST in the area but definitely above the usual: tender beef, seasoned to perfection and dressed with fresh cilantro! and the SAUCES!!red is a bit spicy but balanced with the accompanying limes and offset by the green sauce. I choose no lettuce & tomatoes on the tacos, but you do you! The rice is also very special: seasoning is on point and the rice cooked for enjoyment: great texture and temperature on arrival-I even added it to some queso on chips for a delicious experiment. You need to add FLAN to your order- extremely generous serving and oh so delicious: smooth, flavorful and reminiscent of many of my travels..not to be overlooked!!
