"This was my first time trying Indian food in general and I was not disappointed. Everything was great. I ordered the cauliflower Gobi Manchurian and it had really great flavor. It has a dark red color so I was concerned that it might be too spicy but it was surprisingly not. It had great texture and the flavors both complimented and yet masked the fact that I was eating cauliflower. I also ordered the Creamy Chicken Soup. It could have possibly been priced a bit lower but it was a fair amount of soup for the price. The soup was flavorful with veggies like cauliflower and green beans and I believe carrots as well as chicken chunks. For the flavors, I think I tasted a hint of coconut and curry and bit of ginger but none of them were overpowering and blended well together to make it a nice creamy soup.
The Butter Masala was amazing. I ordered it at a level 2 for spicy which was perfect for what I wanted. It just left a kiss of a tingle on my tongue and wasn't at all overwhelming. I do enjoy a bit more spice though so next time I might kick it up to a 3. However, If you don't like any spice, I'd stick with a 1. The Butter Masala was flavorful and the chicken was easy to cut with a fork or spoon since it was so tender. Flavor wise is hard to describe. I went back and forth between eating it with a bite of the rice that came with it, to eating it on a piece of Garlic Naan and I loved every single bite. The Garlic Naan was amazing as well just on its own. Now that I've tried Haldi, I have a feeling I'll be ordering it quite often in the future. This was definitely a great first experience."

"This restaurant gets it right, at least compared the food in New Delhi where I lived for 4 years growing up. Others have tried around the northwest Glendale area (like Tandoori Times II, they got downright rude near the end and no longer exist); they start out great then slowly charge more and give you smaller and smaller serving sizes (Curry And Wraps did this too). I only just discovered Biryani Bowl a few months ago, tucked away in a little strip mall just north of Bell on 91st Avenue. The only place (and I've tried them all around here) that does Mutter Paneer right, the others give you a mixed bag from runny red sauce with paneer cubes to something totally unrecognizable OR not on their menu at all. I think most of the Indian restaurants have chefs from Southern India who do not know Northern Indian food therefore traditional Northern dishes served by them are just there to appease all palates and it really sucks. Another way to judge an Indian restaurant is to look at their clientele. "

"Expertly packaged and such a warm, comforting meal! It's been an hour since I've eaten and I'm still thinking about how lovely the paneer and veg stew that came with the Paneer Dosai was. You can tell that those veggies were definitely slow cooked with love! The Mango Lassi was sooo good and shockingly sweet; almost tasted like honey was added. My favorite was the dish I never had, the Rasmalai. It was fragrant and so delicate! I thought I was in the mood for something as sweet as the Gulab Jamun, but the implied sweetness of the Rasmalai hit the spot and really stood out.
My only constructive feedback is that I wish they wrote the menu descriptions themselves rather than using AI. I'd like to know what they put in their dishes rather than what's assumed by the DoorDash AI. "

The halo halo with Ube ice cream and flan is also delicious, a little heavy on the beans though. The rotating menu encourages you to try new items. I grew up on Filipino food and it definitely reminds me of my childhood. If you're hesitant I'd say start off with adobo, lumpia (eggroll) and any of the noodle dishes. If you're more adventurous try the diniguan (pork blood stew) or beef kare kare (savory peanut sauce beef stew) of course with a generous portion of steamed rice. "

I'm not sure if the lemon pepper seasoning was accidentally swapped with the sweet chilli sauce, but the dish was far too sweet and the salmon was overcooked. The skin was also still on the salmon, which I don't usually mind if its intentional or adds to the dish in some way, but it took away from the already-dry texture of the filet. The Boneless Jerk Chicken Meal was also excessively sweet and dry, but I'd like to think that was due to the cut of the chicken since the bone-in style of the Brown Stew Chicken was perfect. As for the Jamaican Beef Patties, I encountered some inedible parts (gristle?) and had to spit them out.
Overall, I still highly recommend this shop and would like to think I just ordered on a bad night. I've had this food delivered and even picked up direct many times and the only consistent issue I've had in the past is that they take longer than the DoorDash estimates (always add 20-30 min lol). I'll order again but without salmon or anything jerk-sauced next time. "
