"Everything was very good except the boneless wings. I wasn't expecting top grade boneless wings. Regardless, whomever prepared the wings clearly didn't care about them being "tossed". They just put the wings in a cardboard liner and poured the watery buffalo sauce of them, which then spilled into the pizza melt they came with as a side. Still, I wanted to try them and the "buffalo sauce" was mostly just vinegar. Thankfully it's didn't get into the melt too much so I was able to enjoy that at least. So, if you plan to get the Melt and Side combo, I recommend going with fries as the side. Tavern pizza was fantastic. Crispy crust. Cooked to perfection. Nice blend of sauce and toppings. "

"If you're looking for food that would destroy a Nonna's soul, this is the place for you. This was the second chance I gave it after waiting for my first order, a pickup that involved one item, for over 40 minutes. This time, I ordered delivery, which also took a ridiculously long amount of time (I live five minutes away). I guess they spent all of that extra time burning the hell out of a basic calzone, although I hesitate to call it that. What arrived was literally a huge slab of burnt dough sitting in grease. This thing should never have seen the light of day out of ANY kitchen, let alone a restaurant kitchen preparing food for paying customers. They also sent meatballs and garlic rolls in the same unsecured, leaky package, so there was tomato sauce liquid everywhere, including the not-supposed-to-be-sponges garlic rolls. By all means, try at your own risk: you have been warned. Although the sandwich from my previous pickup order was good, I cannot conceive of wasting my time and money by ordering from Big Rocco's again."
