The rice and beans/rice and peas is choice also seasoned and cooked to perfection, the plantain cooked with the correct ripeness, which is a main gripe with a lot of places, but they get it right. At first you would think you spent too much money for the plate however there is a very large amount of food for the price, I believe honestly you're actually served a double portion so the price and value match at least with that particular dish that I am aware of, you aren't paying 24+ for one plate you're paying 24+ but there are definitely two meals in there. I was definitely asked to get this dish again and I will, however I do think I will use the other options available for ordering other than door dash because I'm not sure if the wait times/pickup times are accurate for this restaurant thru the DoorDash portal as I waited an additional 35 minutes after the order was said to be ready for pickup and I don't believe it is the fault of Da Reggae Cafe.
