"stunned me by the amount of food i got with my order. twice the weight i expected with the main dish before including the sides. Everything tasted quite amazing. the portion difference between chicken and beef threw me off because often places will give you more chicken than beef,but I had 20 percent more beef than chicken when doing a 50/50 split. This with the generous and fresh cooked portions shows that they are not greedy enough to nickle and dime you like McDonald's nearby. The close proximity to me means this will most likely become my go to for orders."

"I was really hesitant to order sushi in Greenville, but it was SO good. The sushi was fresh and the fried rice tasted just like hibachi."

"Let me preface by saying, I'm only writing about my experience and I don't expect others to have the same... So, let's start with the miso. I expected the soup to be miso, but it had more of a ginger taste than miso. A surprise there. The seaweed salad, side salad, and fried rice was good. The yum yum sauce seemed a little watered down, but still alright. Now for the proteins. "They" (whether Door Dash or Shogun) offered an option on how I liked my steak. I picked "Blue Rare" but unfortunately, I received a well-done filet mignon with a little bit of pink, not enough to say medium-well, and after giving it a few chance bites, I found myself tired of chewing. The meat had an off taste, and now I wonder if it was old meat as well though I can't be sure. The shrimp was also overcooked & chewy. However, the scallops were tender, and with enough yum yum sauce, was delicious. I hope others have a better experience than I, though I would be reluctant to order again."

Sweet Potato Pie: The flavor was unique, with an intriguing spice (possibly nutmeg or ginger) standing out. While the flavor was good, the portion size for $6 felt underwhelming. The Mediocre: 1. Value for Money: Spending $85 for this meal felt excessive, especially given the small portions of the sides and the underwhelming flavor of certain items. Overall Thoughts: While I appreciate the effort, Uncle Ray’s Drive-In didn’t quite meet my expectations. The wings and smoked turkey leg were fantastic and worth ordering again, but the sides and desserts didn’t deliver on flavor or value. I moved to Texas expecting bold flavors and big portions, because they say everybut tBIG HERE! Well ifound out quickly that's a lie. This meal fell short in both categories, especially compared to the establishme I frequent back in Ohio, where seasoning & portion is key. I love supporting local businesses, and I don’t mind paying for great food, but this just didn’t feel worth the $85 (Door Dash). Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for the full meal experience.
