"Don't remember if we'd had anything from Sonic before, so today was the day to try them out. Had heard reviews about the Double SONIC® Smasher burgers, so wanted to give it a try . These were some of the better fast food burgers we've had in a while. Although the toppings are kinda limited, I think the focus was on the taste, seasoning and quality of the meat. The burger reminds us of the ones from times past. Thin smashed beef was tender, not chewy or full of fillers, finished to the crispy edges. The bun and toppings were fresh and very cheesy. I had extra Smasher sauce on mine but it was not needed. The Chili Cheese Tots were good but could use more chili to really taste the flavor. All in all, we enjoyed the experience and would try them again."
