"We moved out east from Queens and have been looking for a restaurant that sells authentic Sancocho when we're feeling sick or want hearty soup. Everything we've had from Punto Rojo has been great. Sancocho de Gallina Grande / Large Hen Sancocho as a Sunday Special has been so helpful and delicious. It has all the staple starches like yuca and platano; and they add corn. The broth is flavorful and herbaceous. The portions with every meal we order in general is very large , and we love that the soup is separate from the meat and rice. Great deal!"
