Food was good aside from that though."

"Love Mount Sinai sushi but last night I ordered the Sashimi Regular dinner and was so incredibly bummed to get these thin half pieces of sashimi. I've been ordering a lot from them and these were half the size of the sashimi I usually get but they charged the same price. I also order two extra pieces of the white tuna separately and they are also these half pieces. I paid the same full price and didn't get the same size pieces for some reason. Basically made the food 50% more expensive since all the pieces were smaller. I was so happy with them, but now I'm worried about consistency. I'm hesitant to spend my money and not know what size sashimi piece I will get for the same price, especially given how expensive sushi is."

"Really upset about my poke bowl. It's not gluten free, and usually they are. It's not even really a poke bowl, honestly. It comes with "crunch" sprinkled all over, a totally unnecessary addition that makes this inedible and a waste of nearly $40. I tried to scoop out the affected parts but it's pretty much on everything. This is just so upsetting because a poke bowl is usually a safe option for somebody with a gluten allergy. In addition, it's not a very good poke bowl (period). It has crazy amounts of a mayo dressing and isn't focused on fresh, healthy ingredients like a poke bowl usually is. They just took their sushi ingredients and threw it on rice and added spicy mayo. This is Japanese-American fast food, NOT Hawaiian poke. A poke bowl is not the same thing as sushi but in another form, it's a different dish entirely (it's Hawaiian, not Japanese, for starters). The seaweed salad, the mayo sauce, and the unnecessary fried crunchy stuff makes this way less appetizing than an actual poke bowl. A poke bowl should feel fresh, light, and healthy. Unbelievably disappointing. The only thing I can commend is the portion size, which is appropriate even though the price is on the higher side of acceptable. "Best Green Tea Ice cream in Long Island. This is authentic Japanese Green Tea , a dark green tea color, the way it should be. They have had this ice cream for years. Other restaurants have a milk green tea look and taste and artificial. They don't give a lot of the ice cream, but the taste is great. They do decorate it, if you ask them. They gave me the fresh fruit , Japanese picky sticks, whipped cream and orchid flower, which is included in the price. Thank you:)"

There is no other restaurant in long island that I have found that has this dark green tea ice cream. They put some fresh fruit and picky sticks with it! The ice cream is about a scoop( or maybe smaller). The Avocado salad was ok. The Avocado was fresh tasting, however the iceberg type lettuce and 2 small cherry tomatoes was very plain not really any flavor. I don't like iceberg lettuce and asked for mixed greens... but they didn't give it w order. I don't remember any shredded carrot just plain iceberg lettuce. The ginger dressing was watery, not any wow affect. I would order it again if they had mixed greens. They had spring rolls that were good on another order."
