"I hate to leave a negative review but I ordered the spicy salmon poke bowl (ended up including tuna in it) and it wasn't the best. There was a weird flavor and texture to both the salmon and tuna (I don't know how to explain it). The flavors weren't fresh and the portions of tuna + salmon were small compared to the veggies and rice (but in this case I was happy about that because I didn't like the flavor of them). It's not terrible, I did finish it all & I didn't get sick or anything but I think the quality of the poke bowl as a whole is lacking. The spicy mayo sauce saved the day. I've tried many poke bowls and this one is near the bottom of my list."

There wasn't enough wasabi - only a small ball on the smaller of the two trays of sushi. The Shrimp Shumai were disappointingly gummy - maybe overcooked? The Chicken Karaage was also a bit rubbery. It would also be nice if they did not pack the hot appetizers with the sushi because that seemed to affect the quality. "Despite not being happy with a couple of the items ordered, the others were so good that I almost didn't mind. First, the not-so-good: the Duck Pappardelle was heavy, and it wasn't clear from the description that the Duck would be shredded and, unfortunately, overcooked. And the main line roll that was part of the Signature Sushi Platter was mealy and unappetizing. But everything else was absolutely spectacular. The Spicy Salmon Canape was inspired, as was the Kanpachi Crudo. The nigiri that were part of the Signature Sushi Platter were executed flawlessly. And both the Temaki Trio and the Pork Gyoza were excellent."
