"I grew up in Trenton (Villa Park) in the 80s and every time I would sleep over at my grandmom's house, we would get a well-done mushroom and onion pie from Gervasio's. For the uninitiated, they used to be in the same building where Killarney's is now. To say that I grew up right between the two infamous Trenton Tomato Pie joints and STILL preferred Gervasio's time and time again is a true testament to how good their pie is. When I saw that they had come back from the dead, I was floored. It was like winning the food lottery. The pie is EXACTLY the same, with beautiful little crispy bubbles all over the crust. Everything else I have had from here is has been fantastic and I am so comforted that they are back to slinging fantastic food once again. I will never stop ordering and I truly wish them the best of luck with this iteration of a classic. Love you guys!"
