"They fry their Chips (Plain) to order! Which is a rarity and a treat. The portion is more than enough for two, so choosing the salsa or guacamole option is usually the right choice.
Chile Verde is the exception that makes Chips (Plain) a warm, fresh fried necessity. The pork meat and Green Chile has a round flavor and mild but assertive heat. It's accompanied by Spanish rice and refried pinto beans, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted flour tortilla. My only wish would be just a little less rice in the ratio, but maybe I'm trying to rationalize my Chips (Plain) order again.
They aren't menu items, but they are the first reason I return to any Mexican restaurant. Your order comes with both red and green salsa. The Red is brighter and fruitier than average but still nicely balanced with its heat profile. The Green has flecks of char in it from the roasting process, which I'm a sucker for. They are both delicious in any and all applications your order allows."
