"This is the same food we get in the buffet. In a buffet setting, that's fine, but you state that ordering non-buffet gets you larger proportions. My interpretation is that you would serve to go orders with more of what one would expect when ordering Japanese food from a restaurant. The Steak Hibachi (6Oz) was limited to the buffet proportion though we paid more for it, and there were no veggies, rice, or soup with it like a Japanese restaurant; so I paid more for the item that would have been at a much lower unit price. Same with the Beef Bulgogi: same portion size as the buffet, no rice option, no included soup. We like the buffet and feel the food is of a good quality and high value. "I just flew into town. The weather is not great and it's dark. This made me want soup so while exploring the Door Dash app, I came across this place. It had a specialdeal so thought I'd give ita try. I'm very glad I did! Delivery was quick. From the time I left the airport and got home to receive my order, it was probably 30 minutes. The timing was excellent and the food came warm. I ordered 3 items. The Tom Kha Soup hit the spot. It had the sourness of a tom yum soup and a balanced buttery taste from the cocnut milk. I added chicken to this. The Massaman Curry was new for me. It tasted like a blend of red and yellow curry. The added avocado was new for me. I've never had avocado in curry but it tasted okay. Beef was the protein I chose. It was very tender and reminded me of stir fry beef in Chinese cuisine. The Massaman Curry was a bit heavier in taste compared to Tom Kha Soup. Both were mild spice which was just enough for me. No taste buds were compromised. Both soups had a good amount of broth which worked out great as I like to add it over rice. An extra order of Jasmine Rice was a good add for my family of 3 as well. My last order was the Thai Dumplings for my kiddo. The filling was tasty and not dry. I also liked that there were carrots in it too. It being steamed was also another plus. The dipping sauce was excellent - sweet, tart, and a bit of savory. Price was reasonable for all 3 items.
