I got linguine yams as my side, and my girlfriend got yams and macaroni, as someone who eats soul food at least three times out of the week I can say I am disappointed the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor. It was a little dry the yams to me definitely taste like they came from the can as someone who owns a Soulfood restaurant. You should always be making homemade yams as far as the fish. It was fried nice but it also could've used a little bit more flavor, but they were nice size pieces of fish and the linguine was probably the best thing but I like mine a little bit more wet overall I would rated it a seven out of 10. "The layoutof the meal was similar to that of Raising Cane's. I would say the spicy chicken tenders could have been a bit more seasoned but they were good regardless. Jalapeño Ranch is always good no complaints. The Layne's Sauce tasted like a black peppercorn sauce, it was good but I wasn't in the mood for that kind of flavor at the time I had my 3 Finger Meal. My favorite part was the fries and the bread. The seasoning on the fries wasn't too salty and had a hint of sweet to them. I am also a sucker for Texas toast, it was buttered well and seemed like it had a hint of garlic. Overall I was pleased. It would be a five if the tenders were seasoned more."
