"This store was better than the St. Matthews store which is now closed but still, even this one is not up to par or nearly as good as those I remember eating growing up. In the last couple orders the buns were stale and crumbley and the burgers tasted like they'd been cooked ahead of time. Back in the day those ladies(and men too) with the WC hats, worked fast and efficient and they were delicious to the last bite. Something has changed and I don't enjoy them as I did. "this was the most trash meal I've ever ordered. not one thing was good. the pretzels were tasteless but even worse was the beer cheese. it was a thick paste like texture, ice cold had wayyy too much beer in it. the smell alone made me sick. the club sandwich would've been OKAY had the bread but been hard as a rock. it felt like they toasted it the day before and kept it sitting out. the chicken platter was $22 first of all and the fries came in 2 bags they was soggy and not cooked throughly and you guessed it the fries and chicken was tasteless. all together I could've fed my family for half the price at McDonald's and we would've actually gotten full. "The S'mores cookie is the house favorite. They take a long time because they make them to order, so we don't mind at all! Cost me almost $20 can't remember if that was with or without tip. But keep in mind the brownie and blondie are delux not regular cookies. And they were HUGE. I was literally on phone talking to insomnia because there was a mix up with driver. Not their fault but as we were talking the order showed up and I took a bite of the blondie while I was still on phone. I literally mumbled something to manager about "it's all good" and got off phone in a hurry. ....I stopped my shower water, crawled into bed and ate all 3 without another word. Didn't even pour milk or coffee cause I was too distracted by the PURE BLISS AND HEAVENLY FLAVOR. I stopped being cranky about being stuck in hotel on work trip. I stopped being an overworked single mom. I simply became a little kid eating great cookies

"My wife and I had decided we wanted to have "comfort food" for dinner. We had DoorDash credits to use, so we ordered carry-out (no delivery charge, no driver to tip) through DoorDash. We got the Slow-Roasted Turkey & Dressing and Fork-Tender Pot Roast, and they were both DELICIOUS. Seriously. The turkey is very tender real carved Turkey breast, and the pot roast is fall-apart tender. All the trimmings and sides were just as great. I got Holy Cow Chocolate Cake, and the name is spot on; holy cow was it good! My only complaint is that they packaged the cake and the ice cream together in the same flimsy Styrofoam clam-shell container then placed that in the bag on top of the rest of the hot food. So a bit of an ice-cream mess in the bag. I also ordered a gallon of Sweet Iced Tea, but they gave me a half-gallon. I thought it looked small but wasn't sure until I got home; the container says half gallon. However, the receipt says a I was charged for a gallon. An honest mistake, I'm sure."
