"I'm a vegan who rarely eats out, or orders food; Taim may change that. Last night I ordered a PLATE , specified vegan and ordered a side of green falafel. The order came quickly; hot items were still hot. Specifically, I ordered mixed greens (fresh! and tasted like something!); marinated beets, marinated chick peas (both way above expectations); Moroccan carrots (mind expandingly delicious... they're carrots with GARLIC & cilantro and mint); fried eggplant (meltingly tender & perfectly seasoned). Green falafel was delightfully fried: light, not greasy, with intriguing seasoning. The star was the dab of red pepper babaganoush. This was almost a smoky eggplant, red pepper & olive oil emulsion-- it was so silky and rich that any more than a dollop would have been too much. I ordered the plate with the lemon mint dressing; it was added with a light hand, and was the perfect complement. The plain pita was so so, but perfect for wiping up the babaganoush"
