The smashburger had a large amount of grilled onions both inside the burger and piled on top, along with finely chopped red bell peppers added on top. The combination overpowered the burger, and the peppers in particular made every bite taste very heavy and unbalanced.
The tater tots were also very heavily battered and over-fried, and the seasoning was overpowering which made them doughy instead of crispy. I usually enjoy smashburgers, but this order didn’t come together flavor- or texture-wise. I hope this feedback helps with future orders."
