"If a deli can make a good pastrami and swiss on rye, they've got my business. And McAlister's The New Yorker is a good sandwich. Lots of pastrami, not too much fat. You could make 2 sandwiches from it. I also liked the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey and would order both again. "

"The meal was overall very good although they mistakenly sent me Sweet Tea instead of Unsweetened, which is a bummer because their tea is one of the best parts of their menu and I cannot drink sweet tea (both because I'm a diabetic and because I just do not like it!) Regardless, I did really love the Choose 2 with Pecanberry Salad and Smokehouse Spud, and the Red Velvet Cheesecake. The salad was crunchy and fresh and delicious and was fully packed into the little square box so I had to serve in a bigger bowl. I would definitely order this item again. Also, the smokehouse spud is also worth the upcharge--so yummy. I will definitely be back to McAlister's again soon. I just hope they pay a little better attention to the drink selection next time."
