"The portion was BIG for a $7 Bowl. I was trippin out. The Kalua tasted like they make it in house, not packaged which is good. It came with 2 scoops rice and 1 scoop Mac salad. I don't like Mac Salad so I can't really give an opinion on it but it looked like normal Mac salad. Rice was a little hard but I just mixed it in to the Kalua pig and cabbage as I ate since it had a lot of juice from the Kalua. The only complaint I really have is that I found bones. So if you're buying this for children be aware that it might have and you should comb through it to be sure before eating. Because of this issue and the rice being a little hard my rating is a 4, if these 2 things change I'd say it could be a 5 for the price you pay and the quantity you get."

"The food was killer. Burger and fries were inhaled by my husband. I got the giant loco moco plate, so tomorrow he can have the leftover 2/3rds of it. I was totally into it. Pork was delicious. Rice was great! I was surprised to find that there was a large portion of fried egg whites covering the majority of the container, but there was only one small yolk on one side and a little trace of a broken yolk on the outer side of the other egg. That's the best part! I don't know what happened there. But, still delicious. The first bite of hamburger patty was char grilled to perfection. It was when I looked down to take a second bite and I saw my fork held a clump of bloody red hamburger that I decided I was done. The rice below was bloody. I love a good medium burger. I eat my steaks mid-rare. But after working in restaurants most my life, many as a cook, I can't afford to risk raw hamburger on vacation. I'm sure when it's reheated tomorrow it be just fine. "

The stars were the Dream Cookies and the Flavored Latte. The Slam Dunk was pretty good too - simple but flavorful and the beef was good quality. We don't recommend the Cinnamon Roll; the dough was yummy but there was almost no cinnamon flavor and the icing tasted like pure unsalted butter with a hint of sweet. We disliked the portugese sausage in our breakfast Burrito - not much flavor other than greasy pork. Once picked out, there was barely anything left; so maybe only try it if you want a lot of tortilla with at least 50% meat; their salsa is good too as long as you like cumin. I'd order from here again, most likely trying different things (except those cookies - they really are a "dream"!)"
