"The Mex Burrito with barbacoa, the Quesabirria & Consomme, and the Chile Relleno Plate are my "go to" items from Taqueria Don Fer Family Restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious every single time, and I know exactly what to expect. The Mex Burrito is loaded with meat plus cheese, guacamole, and pico. It's my all time favorite burrito - just a terrific combination of wonderful, flavorful ingredients. The Quesabirria and Consomme is wonderful. It doesn't seem like it would be filling, but it is incredibly filling - really nice and savory flavors. I've always loved Chile Rellenos, but these are special. You can tell they make their own. The "breading" is nice and light, and the poblano peppers are fresh and stuffed with cheese. Everything is covered with a delicious, light red sauce. I'm getting hungry just writing about it! This is my "go to" restaurant in the area, period. "

"I have ordered from Taqueria Don Fer Family Restaurant just about every week since I discovered them a while back. Today I tried the Burrito Parilla for the first time - it had tender, delicious chicken, steak, chorizo, and carnitas in it, and it was served with 3 of the most delicious sauces over it. Like most of their entrees, this one was really big and worth every penny. I also had the tres leches cake for the fist time, and it is now on my very short list of "destination desserts" - a very rare find. It was absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. When I first started ordering from them, I used a different delivery service. Eventually that service got really inconsistent about when and whether they would actually send someone to pick up and deliver my order. The restaurant actually called me to apologize even though it wasn't their fault. They told me that they are asking their customers to use DoorDash instead because they have had far fewer, if any, problems with DoorDash. So, here we are. Great service from the restaurant and great service from DoorDash. And superior, yummy food, too! This is one of the few restaurants in the area that I would recommend in a heartbeat."
