"DEEELIIIICCIOUSSS!!!! i think about the baked saskatoon bannock every single day. it has been the highlight of this city. whenever i have to go to the hospital (frequent; i have health issues) i always get a bannock right after and i feel WONDERFUL. it is the highlight of so many of my days here. i think about this bannock constantly. if it was the only thing i could eat for the rest of my life i would be completely okay with that and never tire of it! i always rave to my friends about it. i will never panic because i know they have bannock:)
i also want to say that the workers there are consistently the best and kindest people. from the girl who was helping her coworker help customers and i was awkwardly waiting for them to have a moment so that i could ask for bathrooms access, but she just nodded at me and it was opened, fantastic!!! so so aware of their customers' needs and always kind. especially the person who, when the saskatoon berry bannock ran out before i got there, just went and made me a fresh one using the sauce and a plain bannock. love tha. incredible. made my day. food is a very important and often sensitive thing for me and i struggle with it / eating often, but this place is such a beautiful light

"A bit pricey, but WOW. Crispy, juicy Chicken, tender Pork, flavourful curry, and a big serving of milk tea. They didn't have any pearls so I substituted with pudding, and it was great. The Yakisoba was also the best that I've had so far. The food was both hot and fresh, and the lady who called (about the boba) was very nice.
I'll definitely be returning. Just keep in mind that some of the portions (like the yakisoba) aren 't massive, so you may need to purchase double if you have the cash!"

The mushroom poutine was...bad. Soggy chips and barely any cheese, mushrooms or sauce, and what sauce was there didn't taste great. Likewise, the mushroom swiss whopper was both dry and bland, with barely any mushrooms sauce (and again, the sauce that was there didn't taste great).
Their chicken burgers and iced coffees are worth it, but I can't say the same for the rest."

The yang-nyeum fried chicken was less sweet than I expected, and only slightly spicy; but the taste was very refined. The sauce played a wide array of flavours with a few stand-out strong notes. The chicken itself was fried perfectly on both the tongdak and the burger - definitely cooked through, but still soft and packing plenty of juice. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu!"
